June Origami Ride, Bicester

25 riders met up at Tesco's, Bicester. Why are Costa's small cofees so gigantic!

Off through Bicester town into the quiet lanes for a 12 mile ride to the White Hart for lunch. Nice pub but overwhelmed by the regular plus 25 extras. So waaaaaaaiiited for a good lunch.

Still the wait gave us time for a very erudite chat about gear ratios on Moulton's, recumbents, Ken Dodd, 42 (days?) and the universe.

On the way back we had a break for map reading

and a chin wag.

The All Saints Church at Hillesden was a real find at the end of a really quiet rural lane

Puncture fairy struck on the way back to Bicester. We Brummies made it to the station 2 minutes before the train.

Great day, thanks Phil.
