This map shows where the cycle route from Bristol Street to Five Ways was approved to go along. We can see that the section from Wheeleys Lane to Bristol Street is already designated as a cycle route alongside the Middleway. The bus gate cuts right through the cycle route, but yet there is zero provision for cycles in the bus gate designs. The cycle route that was approved included a bi-directional cycle track from Wheeleys Lane to Bath Row, yet that cycle track would meet with a dead-end at the bus gate as it is currently proposed.
