Other Rides

Birmingham City Cycles Saturday morning rides

These are a 30 mile ride through north Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield. The rides start at 7am each saturday at Birmingham City Cycles' shop and end around 9:15 back in the City Centre.

The rides won't take place if it's raining, otherwise you'll need to be prepared for hot/cold/darkness etc. The rides are on-road, but if you're not used to that, you will be among experienced on-road cyclists and can learn the techniques they use to cope with traffic.

A roadworthy bike is essential.

Beacon Road Cycling Club

The group meets at a cafe near a railway station at 10:30am for an 11am start. The ride breaks for lunch usually at a pub or cafe. The overal distance is around 25miles with a return to the starting point around 15:30.
