Rides Reports
Ride Report: Sunday 30/03/2008 Belbroughton
Leader: Nick Wattison
Three new riders!
Nigel bought the yellow tandem in the back of the car (with Emma
curled up on the floor?). Couldn't resist singing "we all ride on a
yellow tan-a-dem".
Quite a few hills on the outward run so we revolted and insisted Nick stop at Waseley Hill for a cuppa.
Couldn't resist the arty shot of Allister having tea indoors
with the reflection of the rest braving the cold.
Then onwards and
upwards again to Belbroughton.
Pleasant lunch and good chat in the surprisingly warm sunshine.
A lot of discussion about the ride to Lichfield. How many riders
would consider going by train or car to a start near Lichfield
Station? Would a ride along the canals, especially Fradley Junction
of 30 miles or so be popular or a bit long?
Comments by email very welcome.
Rode back up the hill towards Romsley then a good run along the Rea River Trail home.
