Cyclists have to take a novel route through this junction near Birmingham University. The ASL is only large enough to take about three cyclists at a time. Cyclists then have to make the weird manoeuvre shown with two lanes of heavy traffic moving behind them. Note all the poles positioned on the "cycle path".
