According to Network Rail, localised highways restrictions associated with the redevelopment of New Street Station will be lifted from Sunday 20th September, 2015.
National Cycle Route 5, via John Bright Street, Station Street and Hill Street, will be reinstated, including new dedicated cycling provisions at the junction of Station Street/Hill Street.
Some isolated minor detailing and clean-up activities will remain until the end of October 2015 however any traffic management measures will be short-term (less than two hours) and temporary, with minimal impact on access or traffic.
